My Story

I was born in Columbia, S.C. My father worked for General Motors, so we moved around a lot growing up — I left the U.S. for Australia when I was two weeks old, and later lived in Spain, China, and South Korea before returning to the States and settling down in Charleston, S.C. I started collecting in the third grade, and that early hobby eventually grew into Palmetto Rarities, which I founded in 2022. Coins, militaria, antiques, and firearms have been a constant thread through my life, and what started as a personal passion has become a full project I put real time and care into. I'm currently attending The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and serving in the S.C. Army National Guard until I graduate and commission into the United States Army. I've spent years working directly with numismatics, militaria, and antique firearms, and I'm a proud ANA member — I love contributing to the collecting community in a real way. In 2025, I started my apparel line, Palmetto Standard Co., which I'm growing alongside Palmetto Rarities. Every piece — whether it's a rare coin, a historic artifact, or a shirt from Palmetto Standard — comes from the same place: a love for South Carolina history and the stories behind what people collect.
